Buhari Issues Fresh Directive To EFCC
The Federal government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to go after those sabotaging the Presidential Fertilizer Initiative by selling the products above the government recommended prices.
This is as the National Sovereign Investment Authority has said that it plans to raise and invest over 200 million dollars in Nigeria’s health sector.
Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, Uche Orji, disclosed this at the weekly ministerial briefing organized by the Presidential Media Team at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Probe Abba Kyari, Hand Him Over To FBI If Found Guilty – PDP To Buhari
The Peoples Democratic Party on Thursday called on President Muhammadu Buhari to order a forensic investigation into reports that the United States, Federal Bureau of Investigation, linking Abba Kyari, head of IGP Intelligence Response Team, to the international fraudster, Abbas Ramon, popularly known as Hushpuppi.
PDP said Buhari should order the Inspector General of Police to hand over Kyari to the Federal Bureau of Investigation if found wanting.
The party said the revelation of the involvement of Kyari as a receiver of proceeds of international fraud is worrisome, disturbing and a stain on Nigeria’s integrity.
Primate Ayodele Issues Fresh Prophecies On Kenyan Presidential Election
The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Thursday, released fresh prophecies on the forthcoming election of Kenya which will be happening in 2022.
Primate Ayodele said the Kenyan election will be a tough one due to the issues that will come up before and during the poll.
In a statement by his Media Office, Primate Ayodele urged candidates on what to do if they want to win the election.
EFCC Has Repatriated 5.4Billion Out Of 12.085Billion Carted Away By Some Former Officials Of NHIS
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has repatriated N5.4billion out of N12.085billion allegedly carted away by some former officials of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
The Executive Secretary of NHIS, Prof Muhammad Nasir Sambo, who disclosed this on Thursday when he led the management of the agency on a courtesy visit to the headquarters of the EFCC, Jabi, Abuja, said he won’t join those mismanaging resources of the country.
The NHIS boss also used the opportunity to update the anti-graft agency on the reform efforts at the NHIS, which include the recruitment of health professionals to enhance the capacity of the Scheme to respond to the yearning of subscribers and other stakeholders in the sector.
