The Ohanaeze Ndigbo has bemoaned that the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) sit- at- home order is harming the South- East zone’ s economy.
Remember that the outlawed organization, through its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, designated today, Tuesday, as a mandatory Sit- At- Home Day for all Igbos and Biafrans in solidarity with its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is currently detained by the DSS.
Those implementing the order also invaded a secondary school in Imo State yesterday, Monday, when students were taking the West African Senior School Examination (WASCE).
The pro- Biafra Ohanaeze media outrage comes after the pro- Biafra group grounded the South- East last week on Monday and Thursday, and again this week on Monday and Tuesday.
During his speech, Mazi Isiguzoro said the current happenings were very heartbreaking.
Ndigbo were renowned to be educators and businesspeople, according to the Ohanaeze scribe, who pondered where such a distinct mentality was coming from.
This foolishness has reached a height of folly, and it must be reversed; it is widely established that Igbo students have continuously excelled in the WACE tests, with excellent results, thus anyone wanting to remove this mark is an enemy of Ndigbo. Ndigbo is famed for its excellence in education and business; this new trend is undoubtedly alien to Igboland.
Isiguzoro bemoaned that ” we have reached the end of the road” in terms of the economic impact of the sit- at- home directive.
As a result of this folly, Ndigbo has lost about N3. 8 trillion in all economic and social activities.
All this must end or we are all dead. We endorse state governments dismissing and reorganizing all market leaders in the Southeast who support the sit- at- home edict.
An emergency meeting with Igbo Town Union Administrators, market leaders, and other pro- Biafra agitators whose actions are consistent with Igbo interests has been called.
We will never seat and watch our homes, children, and better future be destroyed, if they want war then we will give it to them.
