The information reaching us right now has confirmed the attack of gunmen that resulted in the death of at least 100 and has made at least 90 percent of people of Atyap village, In Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna homeless. This was reported some hours ago by the Middle Belt Forum (MDF).
This is why they have decided to call for the help of President Muhammad Buhari to help them to send the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to provide settlements for thousands of people that are now homeless due to recent attacks of the gunmen.
The National Publicity Secretary of MBF, Dr. Isuwa Dogo added that the attack of these gunmen has not only involved the lives and houses of the residents but also their food crops and animal crops that are also greatly affected. He added that the destruction of food crops in the place has made the life of people there hard and that it’ s high time that the federal government under the leadership of President Muhammad Buhari takes responsibility for people’ s livelihood.
Furthermore, he didn’ t also forget to talk about the recent attack where 120 students are being kidnapped at Bethel Baptist High School that are yet to be free from the gunmen’ s bondage.
He added that the failure of the security agencies to rescue those victims has proven the failure of the government and that they have also disappointed their citizens by reducing their confidence because of the insecurity of the nation at large.
Lastly, he added that with the current look of things that the government should command the security agency to swift into action to get rid of the issue of attacks that keeps destroying the means of survival of people nationwide and that they should help them particularly send the National Emergency Management Agency to provide shelter to the homeless people due to the attacks of these unknown gunmen.
