2023 PRESIDENCY: READ Questions Wike Asked Atiku During Reconciliation Meeting
Some questions that the Governor of the state of Rivers, Nyesom Wike allegedly posed to the presidential candidate of the People’ s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, have surfaced.
It is important to remember that the two party chieftains have been at loggerheads since the announcement of Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa as Atiku’ s running mate in the 2023 presidential elections.
In an effort to resolve this crisis, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Nyesom Wike met yesterday in FCT, Abuja at the instance of the party’ s Board of Trustees (BoT), led by Senator Walid Jibrin.

However, despite all efforts, a source told Daily Post that there was no truce as a result of the meeting.
At the reunion organized at the residence of ex- Information and Culture Minister Prof. Jerry Gana, Atiku reportedly boasted that the People’ s Democratic Party, PDP can win next year’ s election without many votes from the state of Rivers.
The presidential hopeful reportedly declared that there was no reason to worry if Wike did not want to support him in the next elections.
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was said to have mentioned also that the People’ s Democratic Party (PDP) ran into crisis because Nyesom Wike monetised the presidential primary.
