The former minister of aviation, Femi Fani Kayode, yesterday spoke at length with BBC on the security challenges in the country.
For a while now, killer herdsmen have continued to attack and kill innocent Nigerians in the North West and the South West region of the country.
According to a news report by Daily Post this morning, the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU), has lamented that suspected armed Fulani herdsmen have killed not less than 100 Atyap natives in the last six days.
This is just one of the numerous cases of people allegedly being slaughtered by killer herdsmen.
Speaking yesterday with BBC, Femi Fani Kayode, had said that the majority of the herdsmen perpetrated these crimes are not Nigerians. He said that they are being mobilized to come and destabilize Nigeria.
The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, took to his Facebook timeline this morning to post a clip of the interview he had with the BBC.
He posted the part he had said that he is a strong believer in self defence, he said that if anybody comes to kill him, his family and members of his household, he will cut of that person’s head.
“I am a great believer in self-defence. If anybody comes to kill me, my family or members of my household I will cut off their head. The same will happen to those who attack my community”- Femi Fani Kayode says.
Femi Fani Kayode had cautioned Nigerians to be careful when carrying out self defence to avoid killing innocent people.
He said that Nigerian Fulani herdsmen are not the ones killing people in Nigeria.
