After 6 Months Pregnant Student Was Kidnapped By Bandits, See What Nigerians Are Saying Now

As they say, wonders shall never end. It is no longer uncommon to hear bizarre stories emanating from the Northeast region. This area has been declared by the Nigerian military as a danger zone. This description is unconnected to the activities of bandits, kidnappers who have been causing havoc in the said area.

If you recall, a 6 months pregnant woman was abducted by bandits in Kadina state 5 days ago. The said lady was abducted from the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization in Kaduna state alongside other students. After their abduction, the terrorists demanded N500m ransom which the federal government has refused to pay.

5 days after the said pregnant lady was abducted, Nigerians are beginning to say their mind concerning the abduction. The majority are demanding that the terrorists release them immediately, unconditionally. They are demanding that the government move swiftly into action and arrest those bandits.

There are a few others who think differently. This category of people opined that the government should do what the terrorists are demanding. They are of the view that the government pays the N500m ransom demanded to save the students.

Here are some recent reactions from Twitter users;

A Twitter user identified as @ab_chibyke said, “E no concern me. Since kidnapping is now a business in the Northern part of Nigeria. If they like, they should kidnap all Northerners, I don’t care,” he said. Another Twitter user identified simply as @GentRoyal2 said,” Common be human. Besides, because it happened in the North doesn’t mean they are all Northerners,” he said.

Another Twitter user identified as @Ritanoble said, “Omo!!. This country eeh. How are they school children now?. This old people,” she said?

What do you think?.

• Do you think that they are too old to be students?.

• Do you think that the government needs to rescue them now?.

• Do you think that this is the right time for them to be saved?.
