Activist Under Fire For Suing Sam Adeyemi, Davido, 48 Others The Nigerian


Activist Kenechukwu Okeke has been dragged , actions condemned for suing pastor Sam Adeyemi , Davido and 48 others for leading last month EndSARS campaign.

The Activist who noted that his properties were destroyed during the EndSARS campaign and the leaders of the Protest must be brought to justice has been lambasted by different Nigerians.

The Conference of Igbo Youth Professionals Worldwide condemned Okeke ‘s action saying he was sponsored by “fifth columnists” to bring President Muhammed Buhari’s Government down. A Nigerian politician Timi Frank, also condemned Okeke’s action saying the government is sponsoring law suit against peaceful Protesters who seek to bring an end to SARS brutality and extrajudicial killings.

The sued individuals include: Senior Pastor, Daystar Christian Centre, Pastor Sam Adeyemi; activist, Aisha Yesufu; ex-Super Eagles legend, Kanu Nwankwo; a former Director-General of Bureau for Public Sector Reform, Dr. Joe Abah; a journalist, Kiki Mordi, and actors, Yul Edochie and Uche Jombo. Musician Damini Ogulu (aka Burna Boy), David Adeleke (aka Davido), Folarin Falana (aka Falz), as well as social media comedians, Debo Adebayo (aka Mr. Macaroni), and Maryam Akpaokagi (aka Taoma) were also listed among the defendants. Other musicians sued include Peter and Paul Okoye, Innocent Idibia (aka TuBaba), Bankole Wellington (aka Banky W), Tiwa Savage, Michael Ajereh (aka Don Jazzy) and Yemi Alade.
