According to The Cable, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has said that only God can take his life and decide when he will die.

The disclosure was made by Tinubu in Ikeja State House on Sunday, October 10, during a welcome event hosted by Governor Babajide Sanwo- Olu, according to The Nation.

The former Lagos governor, who stated that he is totally healed from his surgery, stated that God is the giver and taker of life, and that he has the authority to empower anyone at any time.

According to the Jagaban:

” I’ m a little emotional now, but I’ m happy. God is the giver of life and the only one who can take life.

” And he says, if I grant you power and the privilege in this life; I am the only one who can take it from you if you don’ t use it in the way and manner that promotes humanity. God can give power to anyone he wills.

” It is the same God that has spared us till today and has given us the privilege. I give glory to God because I’ m standing before you hale, hearty, and well. ”

Meanwhile, Governor Sanwo- Olu has made it clear that he wholeheartedly supports Tinubu’ s election as Nigeria’ s president in 2023.

On Thursday, October 7, the governor expressed his support during the launch of the Southwest Agenda 2023 (SWAGA ‘ 23), a campaign group supporting Tinubu’ s presidential bid in 2023.

He described the APC leader as a rallying figure and a ray of hope for Nigeria’ s progressive leadership.

Governor Sanwo- Olu said Tinubu’ s ” exceptional traits” set him apart from his Nigerian political peers in a brief remark on his Facebook page.

Recall that Reno Omokri, a former Presidential adviser, recently stated that if Tinubu wins the 2023 Presidential election by mistake, Nigeria will have another UK- based President like Buhari.

On September 4, Omokri revealed this while giving his thoughts on various images of Nigerian leaders flocking to London to see APC National Leader Bola Tinubu via his Instagram account.

The several journeys to the United Kingdom to see Tinubu, he believes, should serve as a ” warning to Nigerians not to choose Tinubu as President in 2023. ”

” The way people are trooping to London to take photos with Bola Tinubu is a warning to Nigerians not to repeat the mistake of 2015.

” If Tinubu is voted in as President in 2023, we will have another UK based President and if Nigerians let this happens I won’ t do #HarassBuhariOutofLondon again.

” I will just say Nigeria deserves what she gets, and jejely enjoy the rest of my life traveling and relaxing.

” The fact that we are even considering a man who has been away for months for an ailment that we do not know, is a sign that we have not suffered enough. Seems like we need a bit more suffering to reset our brains, ” he wrote.

Meanwhile, reports abound that the former Lagos state governor is eyeing the presidency, though he has yet to confirm or refute this.

Meanwhile, Dr. Abiola Oshodi, a medical practitioner based in Canada, has encouraged the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership to award the party’ s presidential ticket to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos State, in order for him to be able to save the country from the brink.

This was stated in a goodwill greeting from the benefactor to the citizens on the 61st anniversary of the country’ s independence.

He emphasised that the country required a cerebral figure like Tinubu to resurrect the country’ s shattered economy.

Dr. Oshodi, a psychiatrist from Owo, Ondo State, remarked that a critical examination of how Lagos State has changed since the birth of Tinubu’ s political dynasty was a testament to the people’ s faith in him to turn around the country’ s fortunes if given the chance.

According to Dr. Oshodi,

” As things stand currently, virtually all the sectors are in serious recession and or outright comatose and we need to plan ahead for 2023 on who succeeds President Muhammadu Buhari and strategically start to plan ahead measures to give a new breath of life to our nation.

” There’ s no better person that can lead this socioeconomic revival that the nation currently needs as a matter of urgency than Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He went on to say that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the right man to take over the country’ s affairs because he proven his administrative skills as governor of Lagos State.

” The template he designed is what his successors have been following and the state has been transformed in terms of infrastructural and socio- economic developments.

” All Progressives Congress (APC) should avail him the presidential ticket so that the electorate can vote for him during the 2023 presidential election, ” Dr Oshodi said.

As a result, he urged Nigerians to support President Buhari’ s efforts to keep the country united, despite the country’ s numerous issues.
