VIDEO: APC Chieftain Caught On Camera Plotting To Rig Ondo Election With Dangerous Tactics
As the Ondo State gubernatorial election draws nearer, desperate politicians have been plotting to use underhand tactics to win the election. One of them might be Isaac Kekemeke, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in Ondo State, who threatened to undermine the 10th of October, 2020 election with thugs, ‘federal might’ and other dangerous tactics.
He made some implicating statements on camera while addressing his party members in a meeting. The former APC chairman and governorship aspirant who mostly spoke in the Yoruba language said: “Jegede (governorship candidate of the PDP) has been shouting that they tore his campaign posters. He is just starting, he hasn’t seen anything yet.
The federal (might) isn’t here yet, its only Governor Akeredolu that is dealing with him and he is crying. When the ‘Federal Might’ comes……Can he deal with Yahaya Bello (Governor of Kogi State)? I am the only one that can talk to Yahaya Bello because I am a militant.
Don’t you guys know that I am a militant? I just look responsible, I am a militant. I have the Niger Delta blood in me. I am a pure militant” he bragged as the crowd cheered him. The video is presently trending on Twitter with netizens calling on Kekemeke to be investigated by security operatives and also prosecuted accordingly.
The Ondo State governorship race is expected to be a tough contest between Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of the APC and Eyitayo Jegede of the main opposition party in Nigeria, Peoples Democratic Party.
