Onyema Nwachukwu, the Nigerian Army spokesperson, said that troops of the Nigerian Army in operation Hadin Kai killed three Boko Haram insurgents and arrested some of the terrorist’s informant and logistic suppliers in Borno.
He made this public in a statement on Monday, July 19, 2021 in Abuja.
Nwachukwu noted that a total of twenty-eight persons have been arrested which comprises of 11 men, 5 women, and 12 children.
They all confessed to be working as Informants and logistics suppliers for Boko Haram sect, who provide the sect with deployment of troops, their location, troops’ kind of weapons, etc. They also supply the deadly sect with petrol, drugs, mosquito net, foodstuff, amongst others.
The Army spokesman also said that some AK-47 riffle magazines, 27 rounds of special ammunition, and a fragmental jacket were recovered from this suspects.

Lieutenant-General Faruk Yahaya, The Chief of Army Staff, commended the troops for a job well done and further charged them to continue in that tempo until insurgency is wiped out completely.
