Arsenal’s time in Dubai is almost over.

The club’s warm-weather training camp officially got underway last Friday and will finish on Tuesday as attentions turn towards the resumption of the Premier League this weekend.

Newcastle United are the visitors to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon and head coach Mikel Arteta has already stated that he hopes the winter break will help his side during the second half of the season.

The trip to Dubai has seen January loan signing Pablo Mari train with his new teammates, while Sead Kolasinac, Kieran Tierney and Reiss Nelson are making good progress following injury.

Meanwhile, Cedric Soares took to the training pitches for the first time on Monday.

Elsewhere, the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Eddie Nketiah, David Luiz, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka were put through their paces at the club’s training base in Dubai on Monday afternoon.
