The Nigerian army has once again recorded a huge win over the fighters of the Islamic State West Africa province (ISWAP) as they killed Over forty of them on Sunday night.
This report was made public by Deji Adesogan, a popular social media presence who shares stories from the battle front on twitter.
According to the report, over 40 terrorists were killed by gallant military men of the Nigerian army during a fierce battle in Gamboru Ngala axis, Mobar local government area of Borno State, and 60 people who were in the custody of the Islamic sect were also freed.
The Chief of Army staff, Lt General Attahiru commended the troops for their gallantry and resilience as they recovered many sophisticated arms and weapons from the terrorists.
The hit was carried out by troops of the operation Tura Takiabango, and Deji Adesogan could not share other photos of the neutralized insurgents from the scene as they are deemed “Gory” and unpleasant for viewing.
