As the political drama in the Bayelsa State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) continues to unfold, there are unconfirmed reports that the Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly Rt Hon. Emmanuel Tonye Isenah, is being pressured to resign his position.
It was gathered that the Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson and some leaders of the PDP have insisted that Isenah must give his position to a lawmaker from Southern Ijaw Local Government Area to enable the PDP secure votes from the council.
The Speaker’s recent post on Facebook were taken as clues from Bayelsans. He wrote,
“Don’t push a loyal person to the point were he will have no option. Loyalty is not cowardice.”
