Saleh Alhassan, the National Secretary of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, has claimed that the organization used its spiritual abilities to jail Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho.
It would be recalled that IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu and Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Igboho who were against the Fulani Herdsmen’ s activities are currently arrested in Nigeria and the Benin Republic, respectively.
Alhassan told the SUN that Miyetti Allah is engaging in a variety of techniques to ensure that its members do not fall foul of the Anti- Open Grazing Law, which is spreading in the southern country.
Legal actions, lobbying the national legislature, dialogue with governors, and the use of spiritual methods are among the strategies used, according to the statement released by the National Secretary.
” We are taking several initiatives in response to this development, ” he said. We are pursuing legal action against states in both local and international courts. We are using both political and spiritual strategies at the same time.
” We have already lobbying the National Assembly and the executive branch of government to prevent the governors from Anti- Open Grazing Law. The National Assembly should uphold its constitutional obligation to safeguard all citizens of the country, including herders and their livelihood.
” We are also urging the executive branch of government to do the right thing by providing options for herders through budgetary allocations and the development of a livestock and fishery ministry. The bill that has been in the National Assembly should be passed; these are the political possibilities we are considering.
” Then, because some of these governors may have been ill- informed about the security situation in their states, we’ re sending a very strong negotiating team to them. Allow them to know the reality that In this country, no space can’ t be governed using GPR technology.
” We are also looking into spiritual options, which is why Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho are in prison while their sponsors are in the hospital. ”
