Nigerians have been warned not to allow bribery during the enrolment process for their National Identification Number, or NIN, by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
NIMC warned that it would not tolerate acts of corruption that would damage its reputation.
Engr. Aliyu Aziz, the commission’s Director-General/CEO, stated this while declaring that the commission has zero tolerance for corruption, fraudulent activities in the enrolment process, and other activities.
In a statement signed by Kayode Adegoke, NIMC’s Head of Corporate Communications, he issued a warning.
