Late Chief (Dr) Anthony Obiagboso Enukeme gave up a Ghost on the 8th of June, 2020 at the age of 76.

The CEO of Tonimas Oil and Gas, Late Chief (Dr) Sir Anthony Obiagboso Enukeme, pomp and circumstance in his hometown, Neni, Anambra state.

However, The admiration of the burial was the glass casket that dazzled in the eyes of all mourners and attendees of the ceremony.

According to Oriental Times, Unverified reports claim the glass casket costs a whopping N34million.

My opinion: If actually the casket worth that amount, why waste it on what is going beneath the earth.

It should have been shared to poor masses instead! Assistant Commandant General ACG Sunday Shem Obafaiye, the zonal Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ) Zone F, has urged the 6 newly promoted officers of the corps to the post of commandant to discharge their duties proactively.

The commandant made the call on Thursday in Abeokuta during decoration of the promoted officers.

He said the promotion served as motivational gesture by the authority, which must be taken serious for higher responsibilities.

According to him, it is a known fact that to whom much is given, much is expected.

Also, Commandant Hammed Abodunrin of Ogun command urged the officers to be ready to perform to expectation.

He advised the promoted officers to desist from any form of corruption such as bribery and misuse of firearms.

He warned the officers against indolence and insubordination, saying officers should be hardworking and should encourage other officers.

The commandant implored those not promoted to work hard to earn promotion.

Some of the promoted officers told our reporter that they were happy and pledged their commitment to discharge their duties efficiently.

Oshoala Edwin, one of the promoted NSCDC officers, said the promotion was a call on him to work harder and ensure that he made an impact by executing his duties efficiently.

ASC Olaleye Tunde, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, said the promotion was an indication of confidence the corps had in the officers after serving meritoriously in their fields.

He assured our correspondent that the officers will do Commandant best to ensure the job was done proactively.
