Two unidentified men were reportedly killed by thugs at Ojuelegba in Surulere area of Lagos by thugs who reportedly stormed the axis in their hundreds to attack members of the Lagos chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who had gathered to vote during the party’s council primary elections, which held on Saturday.
It was gathered that the two young men were killed while they were trying to vote for their preferred aspirants.
Investigation revealed that thugs had been terrorizing some areas in Surulere.
A source said that their target were APC members who go against their principal’s wish and that people have to run for their dear lives.
According to an eyewitness, the entire Surulere had been facing series of threats, harassments, and indiscriminate shooting from thugs.
The eyewitness further said that one of the APC top leaders in the area should be held accountable for the death of the two young men who had done nothing wrong but only came out to vote for their aspirants before meeting their untimely deaths.
The eyewitness said that the thugs were in possession of various weapons as they go about terrorising and vandalising vehicles.
