Busted: How Ned Nwoko Bribed Judge With $50,000 To Influence Judgement Against Sen. Nwaoboshi

There are revelations that Justice Ahmed Abubakar of the Federal High Court, Abuja received the sum of $50,000 from Mr. Ned Nwoko who contested for the Delta North Senatorial zone but lost at the party primaries to Senator Peter Nwoboshi to influence his judgement of Wednesday, 3rdApril, 2019 against Senator Nwaoboshi.
Investigations reveal that Ned Nwoko had through his company’s account, Linas Nigeria Ltd with First City Monument Bank (FCMB) branch in Wuse 2, Opposite Banex Plaza, Abuja, transferred the alleged sum to a Zenith bank account belonging to Mafrogas Limited, a company owned by Rtd. Colonel Dambazzau,a medical doctor and  brother to the Minister of Interior, General Dambazzau. The money was later transferred back to Linas Bank account with FCMB in Asaba, Delta state where it was later moved to a Bureau de Change operator called CBD in Wuse zone 4, Abuja who delivered the money to the judge through his Orderly.
Apparently induced by the alleged bribery, Justice Ahmed Abubakar in his judgement in a Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/1524/2018, filed by Ned Nwoko against Nwaoboshi, held that Senator Nwaoboshi should henceforth not parade himself as the Senator-elect for the Delta North Senatorial zone.
It is in view of the above-mentioned bribe,  that Justice Abubakar erred in his judgement where he held that the suit was not caught by the fourteen days rule in section 285(9) Fourth Alteration to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended). He also erred in law when he held that he had jurisdiction to entertain the suit despite same being filled on December 11, 2018 where Ned Nwoko had earlier filed a suit before the FCT High Court in Abuja but withdrew it as it was struck out on December 10, 2018 on the basis of the same fourteen days rule upon the filling of a preliminary objection by Senator Nwaoboshi.
Another error was invoking section 167(d) of the Evidence Act, 2011 in view of its exparte order of December 18, 2018 where he ordered the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to produce the ballot papers used for the primary election of October 2, 2018 for counting without consideration for the Appelants motion of January 24, 2019, seeking to set aside the order as being a nullity. Justice Abubakar had in his judgement, deviated from the very essence of the proceeding by way of originating summons by proceedings to make his decision by way of Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim to seek to or purport to count ballot papers. Granting the prayers of Ned Nwoko as winner of the primary election conducted on October, 2, 2018 was an error of the law.
For the records, the fourteen days time allowed started running on the same 2nd October, 2018 when the primary election took place in Asaba. Also, the suit was not a continuation of the one before the FCT High Court, Abuja neither was it transferred to the Federal High Court where justice Abubakar delivered his judgement after allegedly collecting bribe from Ned Nwoko.
Prince Ned Nwoko who prides himself as the Lead Consultant to Paris and London Club Refunds Consultant boasted that he has the connections to influence both Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Judiciary to take the mandate he lost at the PDP senatorial primaries in Delta state.
With strong links to the Honourable Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, Nwoko leveraged on his connection to induce Justice Abubakar to pronounce a kangaroo judgement in the suit challenging Senator Nwaoboshi’s candidacy at the primaries.
This revelation has attested that Senator Nwaoboshi’s believe in the said judicial pronouncement erred by Justice Abubakar is not in tandem with the provisions of the law, necessitating his appeal challenging the verdict at the court of appeal.
