President Muhammadu Buhari will be visiting Maiduguri tomorrow Thursday, on a one-day official visit to Borno State, to access the security situation in the State and as well commission projects constructed by both the Federal and State government. One of such projects to be commissioned is a primary school constructed in the capital city of Borno State, Maiduguri.
Prof. Babagana Zulum, had earlier stated this morning in a live broadcast on a state own radio station that the president will be visiting the State to access the security situations and inaugurate some viable projects. The military Chiefs are already in Maiduguri to access the situation before the arrival of the the Commander in Chief of the Arm Forces, President Muhammadu Buhari.
Apart from accessing the security situations in Borno, Governor Zulum listed out other projects that will be inaugurated by Buhari tomorrow, which includes; First phase of 10,000 houses he built for the resettlement of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and refugees, in which 4,000 out of the 10,000 houses were sited in Kaleri, Dalori, and other locations, ground laying ceremony for the establishment of a power plant that will address the issue of electricity problems in Maiduguri and its environs approved some months ago. President Buhari will commission the newly constructed Borno state University in Maiduguri tomorrow.
Also, to be commissioned is the ground laying ceremony of the Federal Polytechnic Monguno and tangible projects constructed by the State government. One of the project listed that caught my eyes is a primary school located in the heart of Maiduguri, it was constructed from scratch by the government and well-equipped with state-of-the-art education facilities that can’t be rival by any other state Governors in Nigeria.
See the picture below.
Governor Zulum has been adjudged the best performing governor in Nigeria because of the laudable projects he has constructed in Borno State and the way and matter he is close to his people by bringing welfare packages to them.
