Chelsea Board Reach Agreement To Complete £95Million Double Signing Of World-Class Defenders

Chelsea Board Football Club is considering their options as the Blues are keen to bring in world-class defenders to massively improve the leaky defense which has been a major problem for Frank Lampard all season. According to reports, Chelsea is on the verge of completing a massive double defensive signing of Declan Rice from West-Ham and David Alaba from Bayern Munich as talks are at an advanced stage.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is keen to bring in world-class defenders to improve his leaky defense as Chelsea have been so poor defensively during his tenure as Head coach.

Frank Lampard has identified Declan Rice as his major defensive target and the Blues are on the verge of agreeing on a fee with Westham to complete the signing of the England international.

21-Year-Old Declan Rice is regarded as one of the best English talents to have emerged in recent years and the former Chelsea academy player has attracted the interest of several top clubs with his impressive and mature display for West-Ham.

Declan Rice has been in talks with Chelsea boss since the end of the season and the player is very excited about the prospect of joining Chelsea.

Declan Rice who currently plays as a defensive midfielder for West-Ham was initially a Centre-back at Chelsea before being converted into a midfielder when he joined West-Ham.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard sees Declan Rice as a fine central defender and has urged the board to complete the £63million signing of the England international

Declan Rice has immense potential and ability and his signing will be a massive coup for Chelsea as they bid to strengthen their backline. Rice will bring in huge quality in defense as his excellent tackling, reading of the game and passing range will be a massive asset for Frank Lampard.

Also, Chelsea are looking to bring in a world-class Left-back as both Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso have failed to impress Frank Lampard this season.

Chelsea are now set to rekindle their interest in David Alaba as the Bayern defender has been linked with a move away from Germany.

28-Year-Old David Alaba has been regarded as one of the best left-backs in Europe and after spending 10-years at Bayern Munich, the Austrian defender has stated that he will like to try a new competition.

Chelsea have now reportedly opened negotiations with the agents of the player as they look to finalize the deal in the coming weeks.

However, Chelsea have been linked with the likes of Ben Chilwell who is too expensive for the Blues and Sergio Reguilon who is now close to signing of Napoli. David Alaba seems to be Chelsea’s major target now and the Blues are trying to get the deal over the line.

David Alaba will be a tremendous signing for Chelsea as he will bring in huge defensive quality and stability for the Blues next season. Also, his versatility will be a huge plus for Chelsea as the Austrian can perform at Centre-back and also in Midfield for Chelsea.

Chelsea will have to offer Bayern Munich a fee in the region of £37million to complete the signing of David Alaba as he has just one year left in his Bayern Munich contract.

The signing of Declan Rice and David Alaba will be two huge defensive signings which will bring in world-class quality to Chelsea who has struggled defensively this season.
