Nigerians have continued to praise the efforts of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, (EFCC), towards eliminating internet fraud in the country.
The anti-crime agency has clamped down on several Nigerian internet fraudsters popularly known as Yahoo Boys.
Speaking on this, popular Nigerian activist, Deji Adeyanju, commended the agency for the ongoing war against these criminal elements.
Speaking through his Twitter handle, Deji Adeyanju said that the rate of Nigerian youths engaging on internet fraud is unbelievable.
While commending the chairman of the agency, Abdulrasheed Bawa, the activist urged him and his team to also go after civil servants.
According to him, some civil servants are more corrupt that many governors.
“I must commend EFCC for the ongoing war against Yahoo Boys because the level of fraud among young people in the country is just unbelievable. I believe Bawa as a young person understands this but also go after civil servants. They are more corrupt than most governors”, Deji Adeyanju said.
