Former President Jacob Zuma is expected to finally be released out of jail as his application was successful and will be at home on the 22nd of July.
Former President will be allowed to attend his brother’s funeral on the 22nd of this mother, however, he will the be taken back to his cell after the funeral. His brother died days after he handed himself in for his 15 months imprisonment sentence.
It is now history that the country suffered so much after that arrest as some parts are still birning even today. The correctional services department issued a statement that allows uBaba to go home for the funeral and will thrn be collected later to his cell in escort.
His arrest has took close to 400 lifes already, with at least 4 provinces suffering with big dsmages caused by the protests as many people believe that he was arrested or sentenced without trail of which is unfear to any democratic country citizen. Unfortunately the police department and the government are just focusing on doing what they believe is right and is law.
The business that suffered during the Protests were told by the president Cyril Ramaphosa to relax because he will just cover for all those damages. The looted materials and goods won’t be taken to auction but will be destroyed.
The people are not so happy about that decision as they are now looking forward to the local government elections as they feel that it’s now the only way to deal with the ANC.
Voting them out of their municipalities and giving a chance to new political parties might finally happen this time. The arrest of Ngizwe Mchunu and how he was denied bail is also becoming a problem as a second wave of protests might be experienced.
