Cooking Your Food With These 4 Things Might be Killing You Slowly




There are certain things we use to cook at times thinking that it is safe for our health when it is actually very unhealthy for our body. The process of cooking food can be said to be a delicate, this is because the things we put into our foods determines how healthy we are going to be.

This is why I am writing this article to you, to show you some of the things we put in our foods that are dangerous for the human body when taken. These two things are

1. Potash





Potash is used by many Nigerians especially road side food sellers for cooking beans and meat. Some of them believe that it boils the beans faster. There is no way one will take in dissolved potash into his or her body and remain the same. Potash is a chemical that is very dangerous and should be avoided.

2. Alum

This is another thing used for almost the same purpose as Potash. Some Nigerians use it to cook beans and kpomo in order to save gas but when dissolved, these chemicals can be deadly to the body.

3. Baking Soda

Baking soda is also used by some Nigerians for cooking but it is actually really dangerous for the human body and should be avoided at all cost.

4. Paracetamol

This is another thing used by Nigerians to cook but mostly for cooking beans. Paracetamol is a drug and should not be put into foods that we consume. Excessive Intake of paracetamol can damage the liver and kidneys.
