Court denies Nnamdi Kanu bail again
The Federal High Court Abuja has again denied Indigenous People of Biafra leader Nnamdi Kanu bail on the grounds that the application for bail is a gross abuse of court process as it is an attempt to continue litigation on issues that have already been ruled on.
Justice Binta Nyako also advised the applicants to approach the Court of Appeal on the issue of bail if they feel aggrieved over the court ruling.
Hearing of the substantive matter is underway.
The matter was adjourned till today for ruling on Kanu’s bail application and also for hearing.
Justice Binta Nyako had refused to grant bail to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu on the last adjourned date, on grounds that Kanu failed to abide by the conditions of bail earlier granted him in 2017.
