Dambo pledges 7 Armoured Vehicles, 2 Marcopolo Buses to Choma Police
My Home Town, a charity foundered by Zambian South Africa based Business Mogul James Ndambo has pledged Seven Armored 4 x 4 Landcruiser Vehicles to Zambia Police in Choma, the provincial capital of Southern Province.
The Charity has also pledged two Marcopolo buses to easy the transportation by the Police in the region.
My Home Town Managing Director Gilbert Siachaya disclosed this in an exclusive interview with the Zambian Eye this afternoon, April 28, 2022 saying the Vehicles are expected to be delivered in June.
The pledge was made during Ndambo’s visit to Choma district this week to commission a number of projects under My Home Town. The Choma born Business Mogul has been in his home town for four days where he also commissioned a newly built Church under New Apostle in Mbabala area, and some boholes and hummer mills in the outskirts of Choma town.

Acting Police Commanding Officer, Alfred Nawa says the donations will help to mitigate transport challenges in the region. He tells Byta FM News that the police in the province have been relying on other government wings for transport. Nawa explains that the buses will also help Musanza Police Football Club travel for away fixtures in their league games. The commanding officer said this on Tuesday afternoon when My Home Town handed over renovated Choma Central Police Station.
And Southern Province Minister Cornelius Mweetwa admits that the police service in the region is facing transport challenges, but hopes the new set of wheels will help ease their work.
