Days After SARS Was Disbanded, See What E.A Adeboye Said To Buhari That Got Reactions

The general overseer of the Redeem Christian Church of God E.A. Adeboye has continued to show his support to the #Endpolicebrutality and #EndSARS movement, days after the Inspector General of Police disbanded SARS. He made known that it is the responsibility of parents to keep their children alive and so as a father, he supports the youths as they speak up against police brutality and killings

Pastor Adeboye also revealed that not just him, but the whole Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG) has identified with Nigerians protesting against Injustice all over the country. The RCCG has charged the police to be disciplined in carrying out their responsibilities according to the law and always think of the good of the masses.

The RCCG commended the effort of the Buhari Government on disbanding of SARS and its promise to restructure the police but said more still needs to be done. The Church cited that the police needs to be re-oriented towards a modern way of policing. The Church in acknowledging the new SWAT unit has charged them to not become like the disbanded SARS unit which they have replaced

The church also called on the Buhari government to tackle other serious problems in the country, and it also encouraged the youths to be law-abiding even as they exercise their constitutional right to protest they should engage in crime
