Since the death of the Vice- President of Dangote Group, Sanni Dangote was publicized, torrents of condolence messages have been sent to his including that of President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice- President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Ahmed Lawan, Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila among other dignitaries.
The younger brother to Africa’ s Richest Man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote reportedly died in Miami, United States of America last Sunday and was eventually buried according to the Islamic rites on Wednesday, 17 November 2021 at the Alhassan Dantata family cemetery in Koki quarters (Sarari) of Kano metropolis.
Relating to the national leader of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu about how his brother died, Dangote said himself, their mother and all the children of the deceased watched how he died. He added that it was a very tormenting period for the entire family.
” It is a very tough time for us; it has been very trying, especially for myself. Having a brother like him; once you lose him it is very painful. He died in front of me, our mother and all his children,
” The most painful thing is when you are told that your brother will pass on in about an hour and you stand by watching as the machine was going down until it stopped working. It was very tormenting” he said
Meanwhile, in his reaction to the heartbreaking narrative shared by the richest black man, a former federal lawmaker, Sen. Shehu Sanni has highlighted a significant lesson learnt from Aliko Dangote.
According to him, the death of Sanni was the display of power from Almighty God and also shows the limitations of all humans concerning issues relating to life.
” Dangote narrated how he watched his brother die in one of the best hospitals in the World,
” That was the display of the power of the Almighty who gives and takes life at his will. That is also the limitation of a mortal. May the soul of Sani Dangote rest in Peace. Ameen, ” he wrote
