DOUBLE WAHALA! Police Arrest TWO MASQUERADES in Ondo For Stealing N370,000 ( DETAILS )


Men of the Ondo State Police Command have reportedly arrested two masquerades, Sheriff Ojo and Muhammad Lukman for stealing N370,000.

The Spokesperson of the State Police Command, DSP. Funmilayo Odulami, alleged that “the masquerades attacked their victims, stole N370,000.00 and inflicted injury with cutlasses on one Adinoyi Mohammed the owner of the money at Ipele town, Owo Local Government Area of the state.”

Odulami said that “he two suspects paraded themselves as masquerades, inflicted injury with cutlasses on one Adinoyi and also stole a handset valued 32,000.00 and a shirt valued 2,500.00.

“They also inflicted injury on their victim’s father, Mr. Saliu Ajayi.

“Two cutlasses, charms and masquerade clothes were recovered from them. The two suspects had been arrested and will soon be charged to court while effort is ongoing to arrest the fleeing ones.”


In another development, the Nigeria Police Force Intelligence Response Team (IRT) arrested two suspects in connection with the abduction of a Catholic Priest in Kagarko LGA of Kaduna State.

A statement by Force Public Relations Officer CP Frank Mba said the suspects, Abubakar Usman 21yrs and Salisu Abdullahi 28yrs, were arrested by the Police team following intense intelligence-led operations to unravel, arrest and bring to book, the criminal gang responsible for a series of related high-profile kidnap operations in Kaduna State.

“Investigations by the Police Team revealed how the arrested principal suspects masterminded and led other gang members to carry out the dastardly act.

“One (1) GPMG and three (3) AK47 rifles were recovered from the suspects while effort is still ongoing to arrest other members of the gang.

“Similarly, the Police arrested three (3) ex-convicts, Abel Nanfa, ‘m’ 23 yrs, Nankum Wazhi, 32 yrs, and Jonah Patrick, 25 yrs, in Plateau State for their involvement in armed robbery, kidnapping and car theft within the Jos metropolis.

“Investigations revealed that the suspects, after serving their jail term, returned to their nefarious activities before nemesis caught up with them.

“The suspects were arrested while trading a Toyota corolla vehicle which they snatched at gun point from one of their victims in Jos. One (1) AK47 rifle, one (1) berretta pistol and twenty-one (21) rounds of live ammunition were recovered from the suspects.


“A total of forty-seven (47) suspects were arrested in the various operations, while exhibits recovered include: One (1) GPMG, twenty-two (22) sophisticated firearms and weapons of different calibre, five hundred and twenty-five (525) ammunition, one (1) hacksaw, and mobile phones were recovered from the suspects.

The Lead Counsel to embattled IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, Ifeanyi Ejiofor has debunked reports that his client has been transferred to India ‘for medical attention.

Ken Nnamani is a former Senate President and paid a courtesy visit to the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Governor of Lagos, Bola Tinubu.

The former lawmaker visited Tinubu on Monday following his return to the country from a medical trip in the United Kingdom.

Although Obasanjo has denied seeking a third term in office, Nnamani in the book said the former president promised senators elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party automatic tickets in the 2007 elections if they voted in favour of the bid.
