There has been increased hope excitement among Kenyans in the recent past over Kenya Defense Forces (KDF’s) smart moves against against the Al-shabaab militants.
In the most recent incident, it is reported that the soldiers attacked Al-shabaab members at Moye. The soldiers are based at Sinai area. Many Al-shabaab militants were slain by them as others escaped the scene.
Surveillance and security has since been intensified at the place as the soldiers pursue more of the terrorists. Prior reports show that many of them have been captured and they are helping soldiers with investigations.
This is a big blow to the Al-shabaab following number of their botched attacks that has led to many of them being killed. The KDF Soldiers have captured a number of them following recent intelligence alerts in Lamu, North Eastern and South Coast.
This comes a time when the US Forces attacked them at their hideouts in Somalia and killed a good number of them. It has not been a walk in the park for these terrorists as countries unite against them.
