Nigerians have continued to share their thoughts following the reported exclusion of the Peoples Democratic Party, and the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, from the forthcoming Governorship election in Anambra State.
According to reports, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, released a list of candidates for the November Governorship elections in Anambra State, today.
INEC in obedience to court orders, excluded the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Mr Valentine Ozigbo and that of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Professor Chukwuma Soludo.
Reacting to this, popular Nigerian activist, Deji Adeyanju, said that INEC did the right thing, he added that the PDP and APGA allowed internal crisis to mess up their primary elections.
He concluded by saying that the Anambra State election is now between the All Progressive Congress and the Young Progressive Party.
“INEC got it right on Anambra like I predicted. PDP & APGA messed up their primaries with internal party crisis. They have been rightly excluded. The election now between YPP of Ifeanyi Ubah & APC -Andy Ubah”, Deji Adeyanju said.
