FG, ASUU Fix Date For Final Meeting

Schools under ASUU are have been on strike since the beginning of the Corona Virus outbreak. There are so many agreement that the Federal Government and ASUU needs to dissolve before schools under ASUU will resume to work.

Several meetings has been held to dissolve the problems between ASUU and the Federal Government but most of their meetings has been held without final decision. There was an agreement that there will be meeting that will be held between the two so that they can work out on how to put an end to the ASUU strike in the country.

The representatives of Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) are to meet today Thursday over the lingering crisis in the tertiary institutions.

Spokesperson of the ministry of Labor and Employment, Charles Akpan, in a short message sent to our correspondent noted that the meeting will hold by 2:00pm.

Students are expecting a better outcome that will come out after the meeting between the two [arties today. Follow us to always get update on ASUU and the Federal Government on school resumption.
