For a while, it’s been long since we last heard about a fight in the National Assembly as everything has been peaceful with everyone one going on with their day-to-day activities but just today, reports came out some lawmakers were involved in a fight during the hearing of Petroleum Industry Bill.
The people who were set to be in room 208 of the house of representatives in the house of assembly complex were said to be members of the oil-producing communities who had come to make presentations on the bill and as they were about to, the fight broke out leaving many to run for safety. After this happened, Senator Shehu Sani while reacting to this said the exchange of blows at the Public hearing is a child’s play to what will happen if you ask NASS to restructure Nigeria. In his tweet, he captioned “The exchange of blows you see at the Public hearing between the leaders of the Oil communities is a Child’s play to what will happen when you ask the NASS to restructure Nigeria”
