Friend Iniubong Umoren, the Akwa Ibom job seeker, identified as Umoh Uduak has finally revealed how the suspect was found, and what truly led to the death of the teenager.
Recall that some days ago, Ini was declared missing after she failed to return home from a supposed job interview in Akwa Ibom. It was later reported that the man who had promised to give Iniubong a job, Uduak Frank Akpan, assaulted her, leading to her tragic death.
Earlier today, in an interview with TVC, Uduak revealed that Umoren lost both her parents at an early age, and had to see herself through school as a part-time teacher. Ini graduated from University of Uyo in 2019 and decided to get a job while waiting to go for her NYSC.
Uduak revealed that she received a voice note from Ini on the day of her supposed interview, where she was heard screaming and pleading for help. Uduak immediately contacted Ini’s siblings who in turn reported to the Police.
Uduak stated that the Police refused to attend to Ini’s elder sister until she had rented a van to go to the address. Upon arrival, they met the father of the suspected killer who had no clue where his son went to.
Much later, the suspect, Uduak Frank Akpan took himself to the police station where he was arrested. Uduak revealed that the reason why the deceased went in search of a job was so that she wouldn’t become a liability to her siblings.
