Kenyans have been shocked after a revelation by human rights activist and former Starehe Constituency MP aspirant Boniface Mwangi of a 8-year-old girl who was hit to death by her teacher.
In a post on his social media account, Mr. Mwangi revealed that the young girl had been asked a question by her teacher.
Unfortunately, she answered the question wrongs something that irritated her teacher who gave her a hard hit on the head that led to her death.
“Hilda Achieng wants justice. Her 8 years old daughter Michelle answered a question wrongly in class, her class teacher hit her on the head and killed her,” wrote Boniface Mwangi.
Surprisingly, the school took the girl’s body to Mama Lucy Hospital and left it there without informing her mother.
To keep the information within them, Mwangi noted that the girl’s fellow pupils who witnessed this incidence were bribed with Ksh. 30.
Efforts to search for her missing daughter led her to Mama Lucy Hospital morgue, where she found her.
Feeling devastated, she went to the school and protested, but she was arrested.
A police officer was assigned to investigate this case, but seemly he got handsomely bribed to keep the case from going back to the school.
The officer, who Mwangi identified as Victor from Kayole Police Station bashed the young mother off.
He allegedly told her to let it go and go give birth to other children as she was still young.
“Victor, the investigating officer from Kayole Police Station who was assigned the case told her “You’re young, you should go get more babies.” It’s two months since her daughter was murdered. Mama Lucy Hospital have refused with the autopsy report,” noted Boniface Mwangi.
