Nigerian singer Harrison Tare Okiri, popularly known by his stage name Harrysong, has expressed his displeasure over the country’s current deteriorating state due to insecurity, kidnapping and Boko Haram activities.
In a post shared on his Instagram story, the singer disclosed he is currently in pain and anger with the way things have gone so wrong in the country, especially after the Buhari government boasted they were best for the job while condemning Jonathan.
The newly married singer also felt pained that some Boko Haram members were distributing Ramadan welfare packages that include food and money to residents of Borno and Yobe States, when it is the sole responsibility of the government.
The singer also placed a curse on anyone hoping to campaign for the All Progressives Congress in the 2023 presidential elections.
He wrote: “I’m typing this in anger and in pain right now. Boko Haram is distributing rice and money to the people of Yobe and Borno rit now for Ramadan? In this same Nigerian where Buhari government boasted they were the best for this job? condemning Jonathan? God will punish anybody that tries to campaign for president in Nigeria in 2023.”
