Hours after bandits abducted some students and teachers from UBE Primary School in Rama, a village located about five kilometers from Birnin Gwari town in Kaduna state this morning, a Twitter user known as Harrison, has taken a swipe on the governor of Kaduna state.
Earlier today, it was reported that gunmen suspected to be bandits, stormed the Kaduna school and an unconfirmed number of pupils and teachers were feared to have been abducted.
The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs in the state, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the ugly incident in a statement on Monday.
According to a teacher of the school who narrated how the bandits penetrated, she said that they came in after the morning assembly.
As everyone had all gone into the classrooms, six of the bandits came on motorcycles while others surrounded the school.
Following the reported attack and abduction of the primary school students, the Twitter user has asked if Governor El-Rufai’s is son still going to the primary school he was enrolled in the state.
The boy known as Abubakar Al-Siddique was enrolled in a public school in Kaduna state by his father in September, 2019.
In other news, three primary school pupils abducted earlier when bandits stormed the UBE primary school in Kaduna have escaped.
Daily Trust has gathered that three pupils of primary 3 have wriggled free, when the bandits attempted to rustle some cows and motorcycles at a nearby community.
