INTERESTING! Powerful PDP Politician Declares 2023 Presidential Ambition

According to Vanguard, Dr. Bukola Saraki, the former President of the Senate, has announced his ambition to run for president in the 2023 general elections.

Saraki announced his desire during a visit to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State on Tuesday in Makurdi, whom he described as a good party man in the People’ s Democratic Party.

Saraki was in Makurdi with former Kogi State Governor Idris Wada, former PDP National Chairman Kawu Baraje, Senator Suleiman Adokwe, and the Chairman of the Saraki for President Campaign, Prof. Iyorwuese Hagher, according to the newspaper.

” A political party that can’ t manage its own affairs has no right to run this country. ” Saraki is claimed to have declared, ” A party that has arranged its affairs is ready to rule the country, and such a party is the PDP. ”

On the other hand, Ortom claimed that the PDP was on a rescue mission to save Nigeria from the current APC administration.

Saraki was also the first from the North Central zone to proclaim his intention of running for president, according to him.

The former Governor of Kwara State also indicated on Twitter that he was willing to cooperate with the party’ s North Central stakeholders and thanked them for their warm welcome.

” I appreciate Governor Ortom and all our party stakeholders and supporters in the state for the warm welcome, and I look forward to working with them to nurture the growth and development of our party and the country, ” he wrote.

Monday in Abuja, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State issued an appeal to Nigerians to look for and vote for politicians who are versatile and friendly with all of the country’ s geopolitical areas in the 2023 general elections.

If Nigeria is to overcome its current security and economic issues, voters should elect ” friends and acquaintances across the length and breadth of the country, ” according to him.

He believes Nigeria needs an ” incorruptible leader who realizes that the greatest approach to fighting corruption is by personal example, ” rather than a ” parochial and provincial politician. ”

Tambuwal acknowledged that the security situation in nearly all sections of Nigeria posed a significant challenge to policymakers, but blamed the situation on the country’ s lack of strong leadership.
