” We have seen that the presiding Judge, in this case, Hon. Justice Binta Nyako is a co- conspirator in the suffering of an innocent man who committed no crime whatsoever.

” Binta Nyako refused to ensure that the DSS obeyed and respected our Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’ s fundamental rights.

” We refined our separate reflections on the most potent legal measures to be adopted into a single, conclusive, potent, workable formula. We expect Onyendu’ s court appearances to be remarkable. Onyendu is in a good mood. Our conversations with him encouraged him and bolstered his resolve to persevere.

” Onyendu is ready to go to court on January 18th, 2022. He is rooting for success and knows that Chukwuokike Abiama would ensure triumph” , the statement read.

The president said Kanu should defend himself in court and that he will not be released. Emma Powerful, IPOB’ s spokesperson, advised Buhari not to take advice from ‘ enemies’ of the movement.

The group threatened that not releasing its leader could ‘ consume Nigeria’ .

” We note President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria’ s declaration that he will not free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. We know that Buhari’ s position, after promising an Igbo delegation that he would consider a political solution for Kanu, was linked to the coming of some foreign- based traitors and adversaries of our cause.

” Our intelligence captured the saboteurs’ rendezvous with their host in Aso Rock. This meeting concluded that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu should not be released, alleging erroneously that IPOB and ESN had been vanquished, which is a falsehood.

” But we want to warn Buhari and his cohorts that if he does not release Nnamdi Kanu, he would be doing a grave error that could cost Nigeria its existence. Why should the federal government free criminals and terrorists but not freedom seekers?

” For financial reasons, blacklegs and fired movement members are sending the federal government false information about IPOB and ESN. They couldn’ t comprehend IPOB and its operating plan when they were in IPOB; we won’ t name them. Those who visited him promised to assist him to defeat IPOB and ESN, but they will be disappointed” , the statement read.
