Babatunde Gbadamosi, a member of the PDP in Lagos state made a groundbreaking announcement on Friday, August 5, regarding his choice of presidential candidate ahead of the forthcoming presidential election.

He made it clear that he is very much interested in the development and progress of Nigeria and due to that, he would support an individual he so much believes in.

Revealing his choice of a presidential candidate, he added that the candidate of a labor party in the forthcoming presidential election, Peter Obi is his favorite candidate who he would support in 2023 to make sure he becomes president of Nigeria.

According to a report from Punch News, Babatunde Gbadamosi on Friday, left the PDP to officially join the labor party in other to work alongside Peter Obi and many of his supporters to take Nigeria to a higher level in 2023.

Speaking about the hope of Nigeria, he said he had already given up the fight for a new Nigeria due to the way the political activities of the country have unfolded in the past few days as well as the protest that took place in some parts of the country.

He said, ” I had completely lost hope, especially in the youths of Nigeria, considering how the senatorial bye- elections panned out, after the traumatic events of the #EndSARS. ”

He went on to add that he had no hope in Nigeria until the moment Peter Obi left the PDP to join the labor party and at that moment, he felt the country still has a long way to go and someone like Peter Obi can make that possible.
