Ballistic bulletproof briefcases were discovered in the luggage carried by President Muhammadu Buhari’ s security team in Imo state.
The ballistic briefcase is a low- profile, quick- to- deploy close- protection system that can be unfolded with one hand to provide a substantial line of defense against ballistic and fragmentation threats.
It is claimed to be a prominent feature of VVIP daily lives, providing unobtrusive ballistic protection against life- threatening rifle bullets while being led or carried by a high net worth individual or a VIP. It provides full frontal protection and can also be used as a shield while riding in a public vehicle or walking in the street.

Buhari appreciate Uzodimma for quality projects
As Buhari commissioned four projects carried out by the Uzodimma administration, two governors of the South East were physically present while the others were represented.
The political class showed up in force, including current and former members of the National Assembly. Rear Admiral Ebitu Ukiwe, former Chief of Staff of the Supreme Headquarters, Prof Anya O Anya, and Prof George Obizor, President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, were among the prominent Igbo leaders in Owerri to greet and meet with Buhari.
Gen Ihejjirika, former Chief of Army Staff, Chief B. B Apuogo, former Senate President, Ken Nnamanni, Gen Ogbonna (retd), Senator Ike Nwachuku, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, all incumbent ministers, and many more were included on the list.
The president, who was greeted with a thunderous welcome in Owerri, expressed his admiration for Uzodimma’ s work excellence.
The Ihiagwa/Nekede/Obinze road, the ballon- driven subterranean tunnel that is preventing flooding in Owerri, and the Egbeada By- pass road were among the projects he commissioned.
Before meeting with Igbo leaders, traditional rulers, and other stakeholders, Buhari also dedicated the ultra- modern Executive Council Chambers.
Uzodimma, according to the president, is a man who shares his values in terms of development and Nigerian unity. Uzodimma, he added, was on the same page with him in terms of creating job possibilities for youths by working on infrastructure and security.
Governor Uzodimma commended President Obama for believing in him and his administration by personally visiting Imo to commission projects in his welcoming address.
He also expressed the gratitude of the state’ s administration and people to President Buhari for swiftly putting an end to the state’ s recent security breaches.
He told the president that the projects he commissioned were planned and carried out by the government following a comprehensive analysis of the people’ s problems.
He said that the technological balloon- driven tunnel would significantly reduce Owerri’ s continuous flooding and that a second one was on the way.
He informed Buhari that the people of Imo state believed in Nigeria’ s unity and that they coexisted peacefully with other Nigerians.
The president and Igbo leaders met to discuss issues impacting the people of the South East in the context of one Nigeria, according to reports.
