A lots of Nigerian students have been away from their school activities and they need to resume to their activities in the school for that the government have given all school a go ahead notice, to open school but not all schools are ready to open due to the criteria put in place to regulate the spread of corona virus .
The Federal Government of Nigeria ordered all schools in The country to close in order to contain the spread of the virus View pictures in App save up to 80% data.
Recently Federal government listed some guidelines of which schools are to abide by in order to resume. Many schools both secondary and tertiary institutions has complied and are ready to open.
Some Universities in the country have started opening up there institutions gradually after making complete use of the covid-19 guidelines for schools to open.
List of Universities that has started schools activities
1.ABSU- Abia State University , Abia.
- Nnamdi Azikiwe University , Nzukka, Anambra state.
3.RSU- RIVER STATE UNIVERSITY , port-harcout, Rivers State.
4.CRUTECH- Cross River University of technology, Calabar, Cross River State.
Crutech earlier stated that they will resume sessions on 16th of September, 2020. The Student Union Government(SUG) stated also that they wanted student back in school on before 10th on September 2020. They clearly stated their reasons as follows;
1: Some student didn’t entirely pack their belongings from the school hostel, it was found out that some students documents were already rat infested, so they most resume in other to take care of those documents before the school demands fr them.
2: students premises is entirely an awful view at the moment, school management have done their part in fumigating the premises , and making it virus free. Now students are to do there own part in making the learning and living area conducive for learning.
Other reasons were also stated for students to resume.
- KSU- Kogi State University – Recently kogi State University have shown that they have put everything necessary for resuming.
