Popular Nigerian veteran Journalist, Babajide Otitoju has once again broken his silence. This time around, the celebrated journalist took to his official Facebook page and commented on the recent attack on Kabba prisons in Kogi by gunmen.
Babajide Otitoju who appeared pained and bittered noted that the death of the 12 security operatives during the attack reinforces the need for us to be focused in the fight against Insecurity in the country.
In the words of Babajide Kolade- Otitoju he wrote, ” The daring attack on Kabba prisons by gunmen and the killing of 12 men of our gallant armed forces by bandits near Dansadau, Zamfara state reinforces the need for us to remain focussed. Setbacks will happen. That happens in any war of this nature. Victory will happen. Let’ s not get complacent. May God grant us victory in the final analysis” he added.
This particular reaction from Babajide Otitoju is timely and should not be overlooked. The recent attack should not be seen as a setback in the fight against Insecurity in the country.
