A lady has taken her Twitter handle recently to Narrates how all the money in her account (about ₦400,000) was cleared after she linked her BVN to her Brother’s UBA’s Account. According to her, her brother wanted to open new account at a UBA bank and he was asked to bring one person’s BVN as a back up. She went there to confirm if this is true and she tendered her BVN number. Unfortunately for her, all her money has been forwarded to a sportybet account.

After she shared this online, many people have reacted to it by sharing their thoughts on it. Most of the people who reacted to this explained that one’s BVN can’t be used to transfer money to a bet account but can be done using Master Card. This shows that the person behind all this has gained access to her Debit card.
