Manchester United hosted Manchester city on Wednesday night at Old Trafford as the two sides locked horns in the semi finals of the EFL cup also called the carabao cup.
Manchester United looked dominant in the first few minutes of the game as a shot from Bruno Fernandes was saved by the Mancity goalkeeper.
Mancity later regained their composure and started pressing foward , but a shot from Kevin De Bryune hit the woodwork.
At half the scores were levelled 0-0 as Phil foden’s goal was ruled out for offside.
In the second half Manchester city scored two goals as their defenders were on the score sheet.
After defeating Manchester United by two goals to nothing , Mancity are now through to the finals as they will take on Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspurs.

According to his tweet he said ” Tickets to London please” . Well the finals are to be played at the Wembley stadium in London in April.
