I Would Have Married Tracey Boakye But I Couldn’t Afford Her Bride Price – Kwame A Plus Claims

Ghanaian musician cum political analyst, Kwame A-Plus, known privately as Kwame Asare Obeng, has disclosed in an interview with blogger Zionfelix that he almost married his ex-Girlfriend Tracey Boakye but certain circumstances prevented him.

Kwame A Plus revealed he dated Tracey Boakye some 10 years ago and wanted to walk her down the aisle. He furthered that Tracey Boakye had a lot of features every man will die for, but he eventually had to settle for Akosua Vee because he couldn’t afford to pay for her bride price.

He also added that aside not being able to pay her bride price, he realized that when it comes to the issue of marriage, there are a number of things one had to look out for before taking that step.

Speaking on why he decided to marry Akosua Vee, A-Plus revealed that his wife’s mother who is a marriage counsellor played a pivotal role in leading to his decision to settle with her.

He said Akosua Vee’s mother made him feel very comfortable and treated him like a son, and this got him to quickly tie the knot with her Akosua.

A-Plus also cleared the air and indicated that he never reported Tracey Boakye to Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong. Forward to the 48th minute to hear what A-Plus said: he could not marry Tracey Boakye was that he did not have enough money to perform her marriage rites.

Meanwhile Kwame A Plus has two beautiful kids with his wife Akosua Vee who is a top notch fashion designer.
