Meet The Female Conjoined Twin That Have One Body And Two Heads

Abby and Brittany Hensel are American conjoined twins. They were born on 7 March 1990 in Carver Country, Minnesota, to Patty, a registered nurse, and Mike Hensel, a carpenter and landscaper. They were raised in New Germany, Minnesota.

They are dicephalic parapagus twins, and are highly symmetric for conjoined twins, give the appearance of having a single body without marked variation from normal proportions. Each has a separate heart, stomach, spine, pair of lungs and spinal cord.

Each twin controls one arm and one leg. As infants, learning to walk, crawl, and slap required cooperation. The twins progress has been covered in the popular media, including Life Magazine and The Oprah Winfrey Show. They can write and eat separately and simultaneously.

They cooperatively use their limbs when both hands and both legs are required. By coordinating their efforts, their are able to, run, walk, ride a bicycle normally and swim.
