NIGER REPUBLIC TOYOTA SUVs: HURIWA Attacks Buhari, Gives Reason Why He Has Broken The OATH He Swore To NIGERIANS
On Thursday, the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, also known as HURIWA, criticized President Buhari for his donation of 10 SUVs to the Republic of Niger, which had a combined value of N1. 14 billion.
In a statement, HURIWA’ s National Coordinator, Emmanuel Onwubiko, argued that the favoritism shown toward the Niger Republic demonstrates where Buhari’ s primary devotion and loyalty lie.
The organization claimed that the conduct, along with a number of others, violates the oaths of office that President Muhammadu Buhari has taken because he has allowed his own personal interests to take precedence over those of the nation.
According to earlier reports, the Minister of Finance, Budget, and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, stated that Buhari has granted N1. 14 billion for the Niger Republic Government to buy 10 Toyota Land Cruiser V8 vehicles.
HURIWA’ s Onwubiko said, ” The fresh donation of SUV vehicles to the Niger Republic where President Buhari has cousins is evidence of where his allegiance, patriotism and loyalty lie.
” Any wonder then that terrorists from Niger Republic come into Nigeria in droves to kill, maim, destroy and cart away billions of cash as ransom back to develop Niger Republic and the President does next to nothing.
