Popular Nollywood filmmaker, Tchidi Chikere recently got into an altercation on Instagram over groundnuts.
The ace filmmaker had shared a photo of some individuals foraging for used bottles from a garbage heap. The bottles would supposedly then serve as containers for groundnuts meant for sale.
However, after being accused of “complaining about citizens trying to make ends meet in a legit way”, the filmmaker fired back by saying that the bottles picked from the dustbin heap will lead to innumerable diseases and sickness as they are only rinsed before filled with groundnuts for sale.

A few weeks ago, Tchidi made headlines after revealing that he had met up with his nanny who cared for him when he was a baby.
He revealed that it felt like his late mother had come back to life. He then said that even though his mother is late, he still has one as he has adopted his nanny as a new mother.
On Instagram where he shared the photos they took together, he wrote;
“This woman here “carried” me when I was a baby. She was my Nanny. So we met!!! And she told me stories of how I would pee n poo on her as a baby.”
“It was sooo emotional for me…felt like my late mum came back alive..When we parted I knew I’d adopted a new mum. I’ve seen what many nannies do to kids these days…I didn’t go through any of that meanness in your hands. Just have to say, GOD BLESS YOU, AUNTY MAUREEN❤❤❤❤❤
Further recall that back in February, Tchidi came out to reveal that he had been undergoing spiritual attacks in his sleep.
Chikere took to social media to show off scratch marks on his body which he claims are from “evil” sources, and that he has been battling with these forces since 2011.
“Whoever keeps coming to do this mischief on my body while I m sleeping. GOD will kill you for me..Been battling evil and fools like you for years..2011 till date.I think your time is up.
“Feels like a razor cut when I wake up..happens mostly when I go to bed too tired to pray and it’s not funny anymore. But I am ready and my Maker is ready too. We don’t look like what we go through.” he wrote.
