The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the Re-opening of orientation camp for prospective corps members.
In accordance to the announcement made by the Honourable Minister for Youth and Sports, Mr. Sunday Dare on the resumption of the National Youth Service Corps( NYSC) orientation courses, the management of NYSC have fixed Tuesday, November 10th, 2020 for the commencement of orientation camps across the federation.
As indicated by the management of the National Youth Service Corps, there will be thirty-seven (37) orientation camps, spread across states of the federation.
The National Youth Service Corps management emphasized on their commitment to ensure all COVID-19 protocols are duly observed. Also, Prospective Corp members are advised to strictly observe all COVID-19 protocols for a successful camping
The decision of NYSC management to re-open orientation camps across the federation, triggered different speculations from random social media users. To many, the announcement is a dubious means to take the youth off the #EndSars protest. To some, the protest continues in camps. Others, showed eagerness to print out their call-up letter. Some Batch A members expressed excitement for not going back to camp.
