The Nigerian police operatives attached to the Delta state police command, raiders unit, have arrested and paraded twenty suspected cultists at different locations in the Oghara in the Ethiope West Local Government Area of the Delta State.
In confirming the arrest to the newsmen, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Edafe Bright, said one used female pants was found in possession of one of the suspects.
Other items found in their possession include a fabricated wooden gun, six hundred and forty- eight wraps of weed suspected to be Indian hemp, various charms, one Knife, Sixteen bottles of codeine, ten packs of razors, one Grinder used in grinding weeds, and the sum of sixty- nine thousand (#69, 000) were recovered from the suspect.
However, among all the items displayed by the police, the one that caught people’ s attention was the female underwear pant found with one of the suspects. The female underwear was displayed during their parade. It is not clear whether it is used for something else or if it is just like a souvenir for the suspect whose possession it was found.
But some believed the pants are used for one sort of ritual or the other. Since they are caught with charms(Juju), it is logical to believe that the female underwear is being used for one sort of diabolical means. This assertion is further fueled by the fact that the owner of the pants is not known.
In truth, it could have been anything. Maybe it was the panties of a girl they r@ped or the panties of one of their girlfriends since girls like to leave something behind whenever they visit their boyfriends.
Meanwhile, DSP Edafe Bright said the investigation is ongoing on the matter. The suspects will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded
